Another thing to note is that, even though the lyrics are all the same, the music has been rewritten, many of the vocal melodies are significantly changed, and the songs themselves have been renamed. Instead of the progressive pop and trip hop vibes of the original, this album features heavy guitars, harsh vox, winding solos, and a generally raw tone. “Ruins” is a heavy version of 2019’s “Castles”, to put it simply.
